Some months ago, I got very intrigued by a particular blog that seemed extreme to me, provocatively but also thoughtfully written by an owned and married female slave. I got in contact with her and a long series of exchanges followed, and what I believe is a true friendship developed, eventually including her Owner and husband.

Today, I learned from her husband that this friend has passed away. She was in her late 30s. Besides her husband she leaves behind two bereaved teenage sons. 

As a truly dedicated submissive, and at the suggestion of her husband, she had taken the difficult task of becoming an Intensive-Care Unit nurse, a career she had pursued for many years. I don't need to describe the selfless dedication of heath-care professionals. This has become all too evident in the last few months. Think of the many risks that they have taken to stave off the pandemic, but also the day-to-day danger they face with us when we are so sick that we need hospital care. In her case, however, this is not covid-19 that killed her.

Approximately two weeks ago she contracted a Hospital-Acquired Infection at her workplace. These are extremely dangerous bacterial diseases that strive in the nearly perfectly clean environment of hospitals and are resistant to most antibiotic treatments. Originally it was only a fever but she became suddenly much worse. In spite of the most advanced care available today, she entered a coma and died on Saturday the 25th without regaining consciousness.

Out of respect for her privacy and in accordance with the wish of her family, I will not reveal her name or that of her blog. Due to her nature and personal history, she believed herself a worthless cunt and refered to herself as an object. She wanted to achieve a true anihilation of her self or as close a possible to this ideal, and wanted simply to serve and suffer. While it is unusual, many subs and slaves on this forum have similar, deeply ingrained desires. A desire to give themselves up to a true Master without fear of consequences. I think it is important to realize that this is a fantasy, however enticing it might be, and that fantasy was consensually and safely made as real as possible by a long-term work on herself, including the help of mental health professionals and of course the work of her husband.

Our subs and slaves are real people. We love them. We cherish them. The doms among us who are worthy enough to receive the submission of these wonderful people know how lucky they are and how much of a responsibility it is to make their fantasies a safe and shared reality.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to her owner and husband, a wonderful man who is a model dom for all of us; and to her two teenage sons. I feel terrible over their loss. She and her husband had been married for 20 years.

Worthless cunt was maybe an object, since it was her wish, but she was also a mother, a wife, a caregiver, a respected colleague, a friend and an inspiration. She was a beautiful woman in all senses of the term. She will be deeply missed, on this forum and in real life.
